To Music and Art
July 2026In collaboration with Music at Port Milford.
Music at Port Milford is a music academy, summer camp, host of a celebrated art chamber music series, and other community events; in Prince Edward County, Canada. Run by Meg Hill, her daughter Charlotte Hill, and a volunteer board.
Music has forever had a strong connection to visual art, both through artists that are listening to it in the studio, to exhbition spaces. To Art and Music highlights the connection between two different artistic mediums, with artworks matched up and exhbited alongside the performance of chamber music pieces. This collaboration draws the links between the exhibition of visual and auditory art; art in the performance space.
Performers of To Music and Art:
Tokai String Quartet, Mikael Darmanie (Piano), Rachel Handman (Violin) & Becca Kenneally (Soprano)
