Dahlia S L Hosts Upper Canada Porsche Drivers

For the second year in a row, Dahlia S L Gallery hosted over 40 Upper Canada Porsche drivers on their annual Prince Edward County car rally at the home gallery on West Lake. Dahlia S L is a show-based contemporary art gallery committed to bringing the experience of art to guests in new spaces, and is open for private visits throughout the year.

 Drivers were treated to local wine offerings and a presentation by Dahlia Labatte, curator, on how one can establish their own personal relationship to art that goes beyond interior design and become a collecting journey. With works of art spanning various mediums and stylistic variations in several rooms, one sip at a time, guests could meander at their own pace through the gallery. With new works from Vancouver-based Callum Keith Rennie, County artist Noella Noel and Toronto sculptor and painter Donna Zekas, all had a chance to get up close and personal with the works.

 Dahlia S L has been featured in House and Home and the Four Seasons Hotel Mexico City. The gallery’s original works of art and sculpture come from across Canada and Mexico City, and the owner’s private collection features works by artists on show at the AGO, McMichael Museum, Smithsonian, and other US and International galleries. Dahlia and Belinda seek to match the perfect piece to collectors, new and experienced, wherever they may reside.

 Dahlia S L was co-founded by mother-daughter duo Belinda and Dahlia Labatte. They share a passion for original, evocative fine art and are constantly looking to share the experience of art with their collectors and art lovers in unique spaces.
